Kolob Fire at Zion is 100% Contained
A few trails like the Subway are still closed but the fire is now 100% contained!
Zion National Park is one of the most incredible places in the world. It is a haven for hikers, climbers, canyoneers and tourists flocking to the park just to get a glimpse of the spectacular monolithes and deep carved canyons in this small corner of Southern Utah. The nearby Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and the hiking areas between Zion and the Staircase are often discussed in this blog as well.
