Playing in the snow on the east side of Zion National Park. Snowshoes and Crosscountry skis are ideal at the higher elevations of the park.
Zion National Park is one of the most incredible places in the world. It is a haven for hikers, climbers, canyoneers and tourists flocking to the park just to get a glimpse of the spectacular monolithes and deep carved canyons in this small corner of Southern Utah. The nearby Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and the hiking areas between Zion and the Staircase are often discussed in this blog as well.
