Scoggins Wash in Zion National Park is a nice winter hike that is located on the far southside of the park where it is warmer. The hike heads toward the Altar of Sacrafice and it has some fun bouldering. The water souce is not reliable however.
Zion National Park is one of the most incredible places in the world. It is a haven for hikers, climbers, canyoneers and tourists flocking to the park just to get a glimpse of the spectacular monolithes and deep carved canyons in this small corner of Southern Utah. The nearby Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and the hiking areas between Zion and the Staircase are often discussed in this blog as well.
